ALEX KRITSELIS is a multidisciplinary artist who grew up in Athens, Greece. Kritselis has exhibited nationally and internationally in more than 25 solo and 50 invitational exhibitions. His work has been exhibited and collected in Greece, England, China, Cyprus and the US.
Following a 25-year career in academia, Kritselis approached SB to refine his goals and launch a new website focused strictly on his work and career as an internationally known contemporary artist.
http://alexkritselis.com was launched on 1 April 2016, with a formal public announcement via SMM currently in the works.
After fine art photographer DAVID STOCK (a former SituationBook client) joined the cooperative 440 Gallery in New York, he commissioned SB to design a clean new site to represent the gallery’s then 14 independent artists.
440 Gallery is an artist-run space in Park Slope, Brooklyn, dedicated to the creation, exhibition and sale of a wide range of work. The artist members range from emerging to mid-career, and practice in a broad spectrum of styles and media including: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, assemblage, and installation. 440 Gallery also invites outside artists and curators to participate in seasonal group shows. Since 2005, the gallery has facilitated a lively cultural exchange within its Brooklyn neighborhood, and the artistic community at large.
The first half of 2015 has been very good to HAIKU CATS – a book and paper-product line produced by SituationBook in collaboration with artist/author Cynthia B. Fraser. We’ve added 3 new designs to our greeting card line (total: 38!), a fun new product: Hai-U cards (15), and the opportunity to order custom 8 x 10″ matted prints via the website.
Moreover, we’ve added new stores to our retail line-up and had a blast at CatCon LA. Look for HAIKU CATS next at the LA Feline Film Festival on October 3, 2015 and on (and in) ModernCat.com.
Join our other HAIKU CATS friends on FB, for news updates and unique posts for thoughtful laughs.
